Oaktree Photography will once again be taking school pictures on Tuesday, September 21 for grades K to 3 and Wednesday, September 22 for grades 4 to 6.

For the 2021-2022 school year, students are permitted the option to wear either a Lakeland Uniform or Lakeland Spirit Wear. Spirit Wear is defined as clothing that contains a Lakeland logo, school colors, or having been purchased through a recognized organization such as the PTA.

The Scott Campus Office will be closed on Monday, June 28, Tuesday, June 29, and Wednesday, June 30. The office will also be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.

An entry program will be held on the afternoon of June 8 for students entering Kindergarten in the Fall. All prospective Kindergarten students must turn 5 years old before September 1, 2021. Click on the full story to register for this event and for more information.

The Lakeland PTA and our School Counselor, Miss S. are sponsoring a Virtual Assembly on Friday, February 12. The topic of the assembly is Anti-Bullying.

We are excited for our students to return to school for hybrid learning starting next Tuesday, October 13 when we welcome our GROUP A students. 
Wednesdays will remain “asynchronous” with all students accessing learning activities from home. 
On Thursday and Friday, we will welcome our GROUP B students. 
Please review the dismissal procedures to enable timely, orderly, and safe dismissal of our students from school.




A reminder that ALL students need to have a mask on to enter the bus and school.

Parents of incoming Kindergarteners are encouraged to attend our curriculum night on September 4 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Parents will meet their child's teacher, see the classroom, and learn about the Kindergarten curriculum.

During the week of August 26th, families and students will learn who their teacher is for 2019-2020. Please look for a letter to arrive during the week of August 26th. We respectfully ask that you do not call the school office regarding classroom assignments unless you have not recieved a letter by August 28th.

All students will be dismissed at 12:20 on the following dates: June 6, June 7, June 10, June 11, June 12. Students will be dismissed at 9:30am on June 13. Have a great end of the school year!

Kindergarten Registration for the Scott Campus is scheduled for April 1, 2019. Families with last names beginning A through L are asked to attend the 8:30 am to 11:00 am session. Families with last names beginning M through Z are asked to attend the 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm session. Pre-registration packets are available with Mrs. Thomas in the Scott Campus Office. Student enrollment guidelines can be found under the "resources" tab at Lakelandsd.org

The reconfiguration of the Lakeland Elementary Schools: Mayfield and Scott Campuses was briefly discussed as an information item at the Board work session on January 8, 2019. The link below contains a working draft of a presentation that was previewed by the Board. Additional information including a public meeting will be scheduled to further these discussions.

The Lakeland Elementary: Scott Campus will hold their annual open house on Thursday, September 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Please come out and meet the teachers, learn about the curriculum, and check out the school.

We are excited to have all of our wonderful students back for another great year of growing and learning. The teachers, staff, and administrators want to wish all of our families the best in the upcoming school year.

Students will be dismissed at 12:20 pm on Friday, August 31 to accommodate for a teacher in-service day.
